| There are some problems on temperature cracks in the RCC dams, just as the normal concrete dams. The material characteristics and the form of construction of the RCC dam are different from those of the normal concrete dams, so there are many great differences in their temperature fields and stress fields. The construction of RCC arch dam is developing rapidly in recent years, so it is significant to its temperature stress to its design and construction. In this paper, the current status of the RCC arch dam temperature field and creep stress field are summarized here, the preprocessing and postprocessing techniques in RCC arch dam simulation are studied, the key techniques of the two field simulation are probed, and the whole construction process of TianHuaBan RCC arch dam is simulated.1. Based on the idea of parameterization and visualization, the preprocessing and postprocessing techniques in RCC arch dam simulation is analyzed. VBA-the secondary development toll of AutoCAD is studied. Associated with the APDL language of ANSYS, the parameterization model for RCC arch dam is built. It greatly reduces the preprocessing time and the chances to make mistakes. By using such techniques as the database of ANSYS mapping results onto a path the results of ANSYS and SURFER software, the visualization of the results is realized automatically.2. On the basis of ANSYS, the theories and methods of the RCC arch dam temperature field and stress field simulation are studied. The key techniques of the two fields are probed.3. The mathematic model based on ANSYS is built, which can be used for the analysis of the whole processing of RCC arch dam construction. The construction in layer mode is simulated, considering the factors such as the temperature, the creep, the gravity, the water load and the uplift pressure load and so on. The dam temperature, stress and displacement from the beginning of construction to storage operation are calculated. It can reflect the nonlinear constitutive equation of the RCC.4. The temperature field and the creep stress field are calculated for TianHuaBan RCC arch dam, the real loading sequence and the construction process of it are simulated step by step, the results are analyzed and discussed, which provides useful reference for engineering design. |
