In this article, the thermal field and thermal stress field in Wang Jia Kou Zi Concrete Double Curvature Arch Dam was study based on the technology of fiber optical and ANSYS finite element simulation technology during its process of concreting. Real-time concrete temperature monitoring was applied in order to provide guidance for concrete placement. Combine with the engineering practice, the arch concrete thermal field and thermal stress field was conducted with finite element analysis program, which accumulate plenty of experiences for dam concreting temperature control and simulated analysis under complicated construction condition. Overall, this paper has mainly done the following work:(1) Using the sensing fiber self-calibration method to improve the effect of distributed optical fiber temperature measurement based on the principle of distributed optical fiber temperature sensing technology and the practical application of engineering, at the same time, summed up a set of methods for the buring, maintenance and monitoring of the sensing fiber in the the wanjiakouzi arch dam optical fiber temperature monitoring and greatly improved the the survival rate of the sensing fiber buring and temperature monitoring effect.(2) Analysing the effect of the temperature, river water, cooling water pipes, concrete pouring temperature and the other factors to the arch dam concrete temperature of construction time based on the wanjiakouzi arch dam distributed optical fiber temperature monitoring data and came to the hydration heat temperature rise law of the different forms, graded concrete in wanjiakouzi arch dam of construction period under the influence of the cooling water pipe. (3) Simulation analysis of three-dimensional temperature field in wanjiakouzi arch dam based the large general-purpose finite element software ANSYS. using the "life and death " function of the unit to achieve a simulation of the concrete pouring layered and the methods of "equivalent heat of hydration" has been applied to the concrete heat generation rate successfully under the joint action of the cooling water pipes and concrete heat of hydration. In addition,for the effect of the river water in flood season and the cold weather to the arch dam concrete temperature of construction interim in the actual situation of the project, successfully simulated the effect of river water in flood season and the cold weather to the arch dam by using the different boundary conditions in the solution load step.(4) Simulation analysis of the arch dam three-dimensional temperature stress field based on the simulation of wanjiakouzi arch dam three-dimensional temperature field and the use of indirect coupling method. Drawing a conclusion that the flood season and cold weather are important for the arch dam temperature stress and giving guidance for the arch dam construction. Anti-analysis on the the arch dam three-dimensional temperature field based on the complex method by the comparing of the three-dimensional temperature field simulation results and the fibre measured results in wanjiakouzi arch dam improved the accuracy of the analysis of arch dam temperature field simulation and accumulated a wealth of research experience.
