The track irregularities could bring about running safety and riding comfort, especially for the high-speed running train. It would be necessary to strictly limit irregularities that we can ensure the casualty would not happen. The paper discusses mainly the track irregularities based on the signal, which is extracted from transducers mounted in the train. Meanwhile, We are awarded the development of the specific apparatus for the use of daily maintenance and alert.Based on the TMS320VC5470 of TI (dual cores of ARM and DSP),the debate of possible solutions, the realization of hardware and software, the reliability and anti-jamming capacity would be proposed.DSP subsystem would perform the functions following, the signal sampling and analysis .include the transducers' signal sampling and converting , the computation of the comfort values and track irregularity values ,to take full advantage of its high-speed arithmetic capacity and rich software resources. The attention would be drawn to the wavelet for the track irregularity. The property and physically availability of wavelet would be discussed deeply.Whilst, the human interface device(HID) and data storage have been extended in the ARM subsystem for its powerful HID .The LCD IDE would be properly incorporated into the system with the help of CPLD. Abundant processed data should be backed up for future reference. The embedded operate system would speed up the develop of software.Eventually, the high operating frequency, ample outskirt chips with the densest pattern, such as BGA, would make 8 layers PCB inevitable. Meanwhile ,emphasis should be laid on the topology of routing and EMI.A glance would be gave at boot loader and software porting. Some notes would be issued in the particular sections to identify existing problems when trying to debug or run.
