Study On Campus Diet Service Center (CDSC) Design

High education plays important role in the national development. With theenlargement of the campus and matriculation of more students, TraditionalUniversity canting, most of them maintain no financial independent, encounteredmany problems. Some of them can not meet the needs of university students. Itbecame urgent to focus research on CDSC design, more urgent to construct newservice centre, renew the old ones under the guidance of these researches.This article mainly discussed several points in planning and architectural designthrough enough investigation of CDSCs in HEFEI, BEIJING and analysis of thewidespread problems of the university canteens.After taking all corresponding factors into consideration, combining withcontemporary students' characteristics, this article also discusses and providessome solutions of several specific problems from the different levels of planningand design (settings, spatial forms, external skin, and service facilities.)In the last part, this article looks into the future of the trend of planning and designof the diet service centre, and testifies the conclusions through the analysis ofexample.
