Research On The Space Compound Design Of University Canteen

The process of urbanization in China intensifies the tension of land resources,and the development of university campus is towards the trend of intensification,which brings about the intensive composite of campus architecture.On the other hand,the contemporary higher education pays attention to the cultivation of comprehensive talents,emphasizes the concept of autonomous learning and all-round development,as well as the changes and expansion of the needs of teachers and students,and other factors have put forward new requirements for the design of university canteen in the new era.The canteen has gone beyond the catering building itself and become a diversified and complex campus space.To a certain extent,the implementation of logistics socialization reform in Colleges and universities has promoted the development of canteen buildings,but compared with other main types of campus buildings,it is still in a less important position.In recent years,there is little systematic research on the composite trend in academic circles.Therefore,this paper takes the university canteen as the research object,focusing on its space composite design,through the design principles,design objectives,design strategies and other aspects of comprehensive analysis and specific discussion,in order to provide some reference value for the theoretical research and practical projects in this field.This study defines the concept of spatial compounding of university canteen,that is,the space is mixed with multiple functions mainly catering,different functions are interrelated and operate efficiently,and the space presents the characteristics of diversity,compatibility and adaptation.This paper summarizes the relevant research at home and abroad,discusses the classification,characteristics,norms,development and evolution of University canteens,and on this basis,summarizes its composite trend and the basic characteristics,connotation and significance of spatial composite.Through on-the-spot investigation and case study,this paper clarifies the spatial elements and types of university canteen complex,and summarizes the influencing factors of regional environment,campus planning,site conditions,teachers and students’ needs.Based on the above research,the design principles of integrity,mixing,adaptability and humanization and a series of corresponding design goals from function to behavior are put forward.Guided by the design objectives,this paper makes a further comparative analysis and induction of the typical cases of the spatial composite of University canteens,and puts forward specific design strategies from four aspects: expanding diversified spatial functions,organizing multi-level spatial structure,optimizing multi-dimensional spatial environment,and accommodating diverse spatial behaviors.Finally,combined with the practical project of the canteen of Foshan Graduate School of Northeast University,the feasibility and practical effectiveness of the design strategy and method are verified,and the scientific combination of theory and practice is realized.At the same time,the future development trend of university canteen space composite is prospected,and the enlightening thinking and exploration are further put forward.
