Herewith, the unit innovation is the task for new generation architectures. Meanwhile, in China where the congregated uptown is popular, how to develop variable unit to satisfy the resident becomes a strategic problem observing our attention and study. Based on the reasons above mentioned, this paper set kinds of tridimensional unit as the study target to analyses and study.Starting with the introduction of presenting and hot sales of tridimensional unit in China, this paper enumerates the variable tridimensional units which present during different time in domestic and abroad, and conduct the necessary analysis and category as well; explain the necessity from multi-view and its affection on people's living; conclude its adaptability and positive factors in realty market of China, meanwhile, point out the design idea of creating home pattern with diversification and individuation; further, this paper set forth the various affect factors, indoor space division and design principle and design manners of tridimensional unit.
