Research On The Dwelling Unit Type Of Congregated Dwelling House In Northern China

This paper focuses on the designing theory study based on the dwelling unit type of congregated dwelling house in northern China. Considering the ceasless building of commercial house and the increasing residential demand in China, the paper carries out beginning with the research on human's residential behavior as well as the trend and characteristics of their residential demands. It is hoped that the paper would be helpful in exploring more reasonable designing methods and conceptions for congregated dwelling house.At the beginning, the paper reviewed the developing history of congregated dwelling house at home and abroad, the transition of dwelling unit type and the researching fruits of dwelling unit type, which is useful for this study. Then the paper put forward that residential behavior decides the residential space after expatiating the connection between them. In order to find out the characteristics of the dwelling unit type of congregated dwelling house in northern area, the paper analyzes the whole differences between northern and southern China in the dwelling unit type of congregated dwelling house. In this way, the paper gets the conclusion that natural environment plays an essential role in residential behavior. By studying people's residential behavior transition and the characteristics and demand of their residential behavior, the paper finds that diversification is the trend. The following chapters dissertates the function, size and the future of the inside behavior space through the analysis of people's basic residential behavior, and the composing mode of the inside behavior space. Through the above study, the conclusion of the paper comes out.Finally, the paper introduces some projects the author undertook, such as Shenyang Wanheng Orient Residential Area, which is a typical of northern congregated dwelling house. By evaluating these dwelling unit type, the paper expounds the designing conception based on people and summarizes some problems in the process of designing.
