Study On Management Of Abutment Bump And The Application Of Pressure Casting

Abutment bump is generated by non-uniform settlement between structure and embankment of behind abutlnent,it's one of the eight main commonon faults of freeways.How to alleviate or eliminate abutment bump has been a desiderate problem to be settled in freeway construction.Combined with the treatment to behind abutment in NAN-GUANG express highway project,and based on a large amount of reference to literatures and data at home and abroad, this paper analyzes the harmfulness of abutment; Through investigations of transition sections at bridgehead, the reason of abutment bump is analyzed.Longitudinal gradient change,slab staggering and depression , transversal slope are three manifestation of non-uniform settlement;According to the style of non-uniform settlement, mechanism of abutment bump is analyzed;Theoretical analysis shows that foundation deformation settlement and deformation compress of embankment fillings are two parts of emballkment settlement of behind abutment and calculation methods of the two deformation settlement are derivated.The relatonship between degree of compactio,depth of fill and settlement is researched.On the principles of comport and security control standard of non-uniform settlement is put forward;on this base,integrated control techniques to abutment bump are researched at aspects of foundation treatment embankment and pavement treatment of behind abutment and drainage measures,etc,foundation treatment measures such as replacement method, heavily ramming method and lime-fly ash mixed gravel pile method are put forward;Treatment measures to embankment of bridge behind abutment such as geogrid method, heavily ramming method and line-fly ash mixture replacement method are presented; Treatment measures to pavement of behind abutment such as setting bridgehead butt plate and use of transitional pavement are put forward;Improve measures to drainage of behind abutment are presented.
