The On-Line Measuring System For Catenary-Pantograph Contact Force

The current collection techniques and performance measurement of catenary-pantograph system is one of the very important components for the high-speed railway because it can reflect the real state of the current collection between catenary and pantograph and the defect along the running direction of the locomotive. In this paper, the discussion factors and methods for study the contact force technologies between catenary and pantograph has been detailed. The design of contact force measurement system based on new technologies is carried out. So the test techniques for measuring contact force performance of catenary-pantograph system will be advanced to a new level.It has been detailed in the paper of the state of connecting between catenarey and pantograph.At the same time, it has been introduced of the method of measuring contact force after comparing other techniques in the native and abroad country. On the other hand, the force state of catenary and pantograph has been analyzed in detailed in this paper. The author presents a basic method of contact force test, and introduced the contact force measuring system. The hardware parts of contact force measuring system have been detailed include: signal processing circuit for sensor, signal transmission system, signal conversion circuit. The software parts have been also introduced: signal transmission and take-over program, data processing program. ?Test data and waveforms are given in the last chapter in this paper. It is verified that the contact force measuring system features reliability, data precision, anti-interference capacity. It can satisfy the request of the measurement for contact force system.
