The Research About The Strategy Of Ecological Landscape Design In The Urban Waterfront

The thesis is to grope for the mode of ecological designs for the urban waterfront in Neijiang, which will be fit for the local specific situation. Originating from the theories of Landscape Ecology but not only indiscriminately copying it, the thesis intends to establish a strategy framework and method system for the ecological landscape designs of urban waterfront, with full consideration of local situation of nature, society, ecolomic and landscape construction of Tuojiang urban waterfront in Neijiang.The thesis first analyses some serious problems of the landscape construction of urban waterfront in China at present. It introduces and interprets urgency to speed up the research on ecological landscape designs upon the urban waterfront, with direct purpose of researching and settling problems. The thesis also introduces and interprets the specific position and function of the urban banks in detail, with which it clarifies the necessity of insisting on the strategy of ecological landscape designs upon the urban waterfront. Second, the thesis introduces and interprets the basic theories on Landscape Ecology and Landscape Design and Ecological Design, which supply the basic theories and methods for researching on landscape designs upon the urban banks. Based on the results of practical investigation on some elementary factors such as the climate, the waters and natural resources, the thesis then analyses some problems of the occupied area and the landscape situation, suggesting the guiding thoughts and fundamental principles on the landscape designs upon the urban waterfront. Furthermore, the ecological strategy is put forward and thoroughly analyzed (e.g. protection and construction of the basic ecological pattern upon the waterfront landscape and using land with more purpose; preserving and recovering the river ecologic systems, including improving water quality, maintaining the wideth and connection of the river, preserving and recovering the natural situation of the river; construction of the ecologic dikes; improvement of air-environment designs;protecting and constructing more style ecologic green belt patch and corridor, valuing the ecological design of the roadstranfic , constructing the traffic-transport system which mainly adapts to the pavement and the bicycle and buses in the shore; ecological integrated design, which means designing with nature, with 3R, with mankind), and the thesis shows some operable and ecological principles and technical methods of the landscape designs upon the urban waterfront fit for the specific situation in Neijiang. Thus the framework of the ecologic strategies on the landscape designs upon the urban waterfront is built and taken into shape.Finally, the thesis summarizes the reforming researches, foresees and evaluates their value, meanwhile the thesis prospects for the future research.
