With the growing of the power system and unit capacity, the configuration of system becoming more complex, so high-powered automatic device used abroad in power system in order to guarentee the safe of system and the quality of the electric power. As one of the important automatic device in system, microprocessor-based automatic quasi-synchronization device takes main role in safe operation of system and the load distributed more reasonable and more economic. Paralleling in the incorrect point will bring serious system accident or even lead to the system breaking down. The process of synchronize must use safe and manipulable automatic quasi-synchronization device, so, this paper study on microprocessor-based automatic quasi-synchronization device based on MSP430 singlechip.Firstly, this paper analyse the theory of quasi-synchronization, combined with the actual project application, accomplished the hardware design of the quasi-synchronization device, which main controller based on MSP430, accessorial controller based on 89C55. The main controller function including measure and judge the parallel condition, quicken the parallel condition to come, count the paralleling time point, come true the communication function, etc; The accessorial controller function including handle the quasi-synchronization device, control the LCD and LED, etc. Later, accomplished the software design in order to achieve all kings of function of the microprocessor-based automatic quasi-synchronization device based on the hardware. There are 6 chapters in this dissertation.Chapter 1 is introdution part. This part briefly looks back the development process of the automatic quasi-synchronization device and some shortcoming, bring forward the question, the aim and the significance of this dissertation.Chapter 2 is theory part. This part analyses the principle of parallel operation and function require of the quasi-synchronization device, sum up the method of fast speed of synchronization and used Matlab emulate the method what used.Chapter 3 design the hardware of the device used the electronics technology according to the requirements of synchronization.Chapter 4 is about the software design based on the hardware.Chapter 5 used Visual Basic to design the monitor software.Chapter 6 summarizes all the works in this dissertation and points out the further research works to be developed.
