Research On The Developing Mode Of Residential Areas In Metropolitan Fringes

Currently, residential areas construction in the fringes of Wuhan city is faced with great opportunities, which never happened before. However, in the process of residential areas construction in fringes, a series of problems appear which shouldn't be neglected, such as housing construction excessively depending on the trunk rode, lag of attached establishment, scarcity of livingness. All these problems restrict badly the development potential of residential areas construction. An important reason is the shortage of indispensable directive theory. Seeing from research all around the world, we find that there is little systematical and specialized research on residential areas construction in metropolitan fringes. Based on the reality in Wuhan city, searching after an appropriate housing developing mode in metropolitan fringes is of great importance in theory and reality.In this paper, at first, the author systematically studies the residential areas construction theories in home and abroad, which is the foundation stone of the whole paper; then, as the case of Wuhan city, the author analyses the course of housing construction in Wuhan city after liberation, the driving force of the housing construction in urban fringes, the spatial organization status and the problems; At last, from two layers — the external spatial organization and the inner housing developing of the residential areas construction in the fringes of Wuhan city, using the external spatial organization and the inner housing developing of residential areas in abroad for reference, aiming at the problems in the housing construction and the development trend in the fringes of Wuhan city, this paper puts forward the "Multi-core groups" mode in the spatial organization and the "Center network" mode in the housing developing.
