Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor (PMBDCM) is a kind of neotype motor with the development of power electronics and permanent-magnet material, It is widely used as a high-performance driving machine because of its advantages such as simple structure, reliable operation and convenient maintenance which the AC motors have and the inherent advantages as a DC motor of high efficiency, low magnet excitation loss and excellent speed controllability. First,we designed a 50kW multi-phase permanent magnet brushless DC motor as subject investigated.Then introduce the composition of control system with their hardware and software design.And provide the designed method of contolled system based on DSP. Secondly,we design a Supervisory Monitor And Control System for the multi-phase permanent magnet brushless DC motor. Started with overall task, program framework, data sets and various operation/monitor interfaces, the thesis puts an emphasis on serial communication of this real-time system under Win32 platform. Multiple threading, thread synchronization, overlapped I/O and Windows API were introduced to help gain insight into such work as opening, setting, reading and writing the PC serial communication port under Win32. Related hardware scheme and MCU implementing source were given, too. Using the Supervisory Monitor And Control System we complete the system experiment and record some important waveforms ,demonstrate the real-time and accuracy of the Supervisory Monitor and Control System.
