When a patient is taking Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the time is importance, and as good as possible. Portable CPR device could be applied to a patient in any environment without interrupting CPR and the patient is resuscitated in time. In the thesis, design and implementation of intelligent & portable CPR device based on C8051F020 MCU control and compressed gas become as power source. First, the review of the technology of CPR and intelligent instrumentation are introduced. Later, the basic theory of CPR device, which includes the method of control and realization of CPR device and its expected objects, the principle of transmission of gas pressure, the technology of digital filter, are presented. In the part of system hardware designing, firstly, the thesis introduces how to control about system hardware, the principle and circuit design of LCD and touch screen. At the same time, the principle of stepper motor, which includes working, the design of drive circuit and so on, are introduced. Along with the principle of the pressure sensor and the designing of power supply circuit, are presented in detail. In the part of system software developing, firstly, the thesis introduces how to realize about system software, the programmer of LCD display and the drive programmer of touch screen. This thesis also discusses the sample of pressure, computation method of measurement, and the serial communication between MCU and PC. It is a new designing idea, whose intelligent & portable CPR device based on C8051F020 MCU control and compressed gas become as power source. It is realized man-machine conversation function, and makes portable CPR with maneuverability and maintenance. The feedback system, composed stepper motor and pressure sensor, stably controls and adjusts gas pressure. The design has portable function and emphasizes the device's intelligence. In the end, the thesis describes the debugging process of system. The results show that the system has completely reached its expected objects with high precision, high speed. Furthermore the insufficiency is pointed out objectively, than the suggestions of the next work are presented.
