Urban rail transportation have unique advantages of large capacity,low wastage of energy and low pollution,which have decided that it will have been applied widely in the future.However,its transportation potential could not brought into play,except it has the favourable feeding system and join system.Passenger traffic hub is the serve place that can meet the need of the transfer of different traffic modes,different traffic demands and different directions.A reasonable transfer system not only can satisfy the need of the passengers,the reasonable layout but also can provide the conditions to develop a public traffic system of equilibrium,convenience,comfort and safty,to assort with join of different modes in the whole urban transportation system. The paper firstly introduce the urban rail transportation kinds around the world,dividing the rail traffic hub rationally into different classifications and different grades, basing on which, analysing the reasonable attraction area of the hub.Secondly,paper elaborate the traffic join and cooperation patterns in detail between urban traffic hub and urban external traffic including the transfer between the urban rail with the aviation,national rail,highway and ports.When discussing the transfer between hub and interior traffic,platform layout patterns of different rail lines is be focused on,and also concentrating on the layout patterns,the dimentions analysis,the methods of the networks of the public traffic platform.In the same time,discussing the transfer modes with pedestrain,bycicle,private cars and the so on.Thirdly,paper introduce the traffic organization in the traffic hub,including the administration about static traffic and dynamic traffic.Fourthly,the evaluation methods about the hub plan is presented systemicly,and a practical mathematics evatuation model is also put forward.Finally,as a example Buji rail station hub in Shenzhen is designed and planned by applying the related theory above.
