Today, the dimensions of the electrical power system become larger and larger in the world. To improve the safety in operation of the electric network, the simulation of the transient of the power system is important. When the dimension is larger, the cost of the usual simulation becomes more, and the speed of simulation becomes a bottleneck. The analog very large scale integration (VLSI) is mentioned to permit real-time transient analysis. This article analyses the transient stability of the power system with excitation using PSpice.Firstly, the circuits of plus-minus, multiply-divide, integration and transimpedance are presented through PSpice. Then, the model with and without damp is mapped to the chip of the analogue VLSI through a series of the formulas and the model is created at PSpice. A single-machine infinite-bus power system (E' is invariable ) with either symmetrical fault or unbalanced fault is represented. At last, the model of the invariable E_q~' is analysed to get the result of the transient stabilityof the power system when the symmetrical fault occurs, the cause of the inaccuracy is analysed and the method to solve the problem is mentioned, which are the switch-capacitor circuit and the quick integration circuit when the power system suffers the linear perturbation, which may cause collapsing, the PSS, which is used to solve the problem, is also illustrated through PSpice.
