After has been used long time, the bearing capacity of the two-way arch bridge is influenced by deformation of the main arch ring and aging of the steel concrete materials. However, two-way arch bridge has some overload latent capacity, as long as the cause of disease is found and corresponding method is adopted, most of the bridge can continue to service. Large quantity fund can be saved and better socioeconomic performance can be obtained, the other way, maintenance and overhauling can get rid of the safety incipient fault and increase traffic and service capacity of the highway. According to principle of the nonlinear finite element method for steel concrete, the thesis analysis AUHAN Bridge for reinforcement and increasing load in theory through finite element software ADINA. Plane linkage element is used to calculate bearing capacity of the structure, and 3D solid element is used to simulate response of the beam to load. Referencing deformation of the main arch ring and going of the steel concrete material, the finite element method can supply correct guide for the reinforcement of the bridge structure reinforcement. Directed toward problems of the bridge superstructure, the thesis put forward proper reinforcement method—reinforcement on the extrados. And the derivation for the design of the reinforcement has been finished. Expansion concrete is used in the engineering,so the disadvantage of the general concrete used in reinforcement will be covered. The thesis also expounds reinforcement mechanics and mixture ratio test of the expansion concrete. For the bridge pier, pre-stress anchor wire and spray Crete method is used to enlarge stiffness and reduce horizontal displacement. At last, the result of the reinforcement is simulated by ADINA programs. After comparing data of the load test, the conclusion of the reinforcement of the AUHAN Bridge and calculation in theory is obtained...
