The steel rope is largely used during the process of modern bridge construction, high building construction and engineering equipment lifting & installation. Thus, research area of the pulling force detection is very important and become an international research focus. In recent years, this research was developed rapidly. The intellectualized detecting system is just arisen from the actual problems. This system dissertates and analyzes the real situation of the research at the present time, analyzes the theory of the detecting system, designs the hardware and software system based on SCM at the same time.1,The structure and theory of the detecting system and are analyzed. The system designs the hydraulic pressure system composed of multi-jack technology as the pressure framework, because only one jack can not match the loading requirement. The controlling circuit is also designed at the same time.2. The key of the intellectualized detecting system is how to capture the detecting signal. This system gets the signal from Pressure sensor and Displacement sensor, from the former sensor to get the inner pressure numerical value and the later to get the protrudent numerical value of the jack. After the signal is pretreated, it is communicated to the SCM.3, The hardware part is a typical SCM application system, utilizing all of interior resources and lots of exterior interface technique of the SCM. Under the control of the SCM system, this intellectualized detecting system actualizes A/D conversion for the detected signal. After analyzed and calculated by the SCM, the controlling signal for the jacks is outputted from the I/O port. The detected data is displayed on the LCD of the system directly at the same time. My system takes advantage of the real-time serial communication between PC and SCM. The detected result is transmitted to the PC.4.The software part comprises software for SCM and software for PC. The former, written in C language, is responsible for the system controlling, processing, analyzing and displaying when work in offline mode, while it is responsible for sampling and date transfer when work in online mode. The latter, written in Visual C++ 6.0 language, provides a friendly interface when works online mode, throughwhich user can issue the detected the result on the network. The system can debug the SCM system through PC.5.This method support a simplified steel rope tensile force intellectualized detecting system, validate the detecting theory, also validate the correctness of the hardware and the software system at the same time.
