| High-temperature dust removal technology for the coal-fired boiler needs asuitable method, and the allowable Emission standard of soot is lower than everbefore. Nowadays fine particles especially PM10 from coal-fired boiler are controlledby environmental protection department in many countries. Metal fiber felt isgenerally applied in water disposal field, but infrequently in dust removal field.Therefore requirements of metal fiber felt need to be determined in dust removal field.With the advantages of metal and fibrous textile, metal fiber felt is of obviousfunction of removing dust from high temperature soot of coal-fired boiler. First, Alaboratory test system was established. This laboratory test work shows that metalfiber felt generally satisfy the requirements of dust removal in coal-fired boiler.Next, according to the experience of practical engineering and existing conditions,a set of metal fiber collector was made. Furthermore spray tower was made togetherfor environmental protection. There is great difference between this kind of metalfiber collector and other fiber collectors: metal fiber felt is moving, and watercleaning in flume is used as regeneration. This kind of regeneration may change thespeed of metal fiber felt moving and water flow with different flow or concentrationof soot. This metal fiber collector was operated in the flue of heat-space boiler insome district of city. Through a number of spot experiments, some informationabout its characters in dust removal is gotten. Finally, the experiments draw theconclusion that metal fiber felt is good at these occasions, and this regenerationmethod basically get expected results.At last, several suggestions about this kind of new method with metal fiber feltare provided. |
