The Research Of Applied Ergonomics

Ergonomics is a subject that research the interaction among human and the other factors of the whole system. Relative theories, data and methods are applied to design the system to optimize it's efficiency.Just like the other subjects, the research of ergonomics has two aspects: theoretic research and practical research. Theoretic Research focuses on the relations between human function and the object involving dimension of human body, skeleton, muscle, posture and so on. However with the development of modern computer technology and IT technology, theoretic research of ergonomics no long satisfies the need of information and globalization society.On the basis of physiological index study the research of Modern Applied Ergonomics compositive analyzes attribute of human including age, educational level, cultural background, knowledge structure, language and psychological index.It better harmonize the relations between human and machine in order to promote the system to a higher level.The research of Modern Applied Ergonomics is a new task that industrial designers confront. Industrial design and ergonomics both emphasize the relation among human, machine and the environment in order to use theoretic and practical method to solve efficiency and health problem. Applied ergonomics provides Industrial design the operational principle involving the relations between human and machine.On the other hand, industrial design makes the applied ergonomics progress faster and faster.With the social development,people pay more attention to the convenience, comfort, credibility, value, security, efficiency of life.The research of applied ergonomics will improve the level of industrial design greatly.I analyzed a lot of domestic ergonomics material that related to anatomy, measure, application etc and found their structure almost confiisable.So it makes the ergonomics very complicated and hard to understand. Chinese ergonomics research mostly refers to the works in the eighties of the twentieth century and it's theoretic ergonomics and applied ergonomics research system is disordered.Based on the domestic research status , my thesis will focus on the application of ergonomics.My thesis put forward a viewpoint at a new angle of comprehensive research into the relations between human and machine by body aspect, mind aspect,time aspect, environment aspect and interaction aspect. With research of the five aspects,I will establish the system and framework of modern applied ergonomics.I conclude the checkpoints, reason and points to remember by the Ergonomic Checkpoints research method and Finally the idea and method of applied ergonomics can be practicably used in industrial design and promote the relations between human and machine to a new level.The meaning of the reseach is that it can minish the distance between ergonomics and industrial design and make ergonomics fully applied in industrial design. The result of the reseach will not only improve the application of ergonomics but also has profound value and realistic meaning of the ergonomics popularization and industrial design level improvement.
