Research On Industrial Design Of Display And Control Console Based On Ergonomics

The display and control platform plays an important role as the core equipment of information receiving and data processing at the vehicle,the ship and the ground control center.With the development of industrial design in China,the humanized demand is increasing in the industrial products.At this stage,the console is calling the Ergonomic redesign in modeling.Based on Ergonomics,the design of the console is studied by the product feature extraction and ergonomics analysis software.Firstly,we analyzed the type and style of display console.The typical consoles are carried out the feature extraction.We described the design elements and trends of display console.The interface functional area of the display console is divided.The design requirements of display console are cleared.Secondly,the ergonomic factors which should be taken into consideration of the display console are analyzed by the above design requirements.The research and evaluation methods of the display console are analyzed by the size of the workspace,the human body and the physiological and psychological characteristics.On the basis of the above research,several console schemes are designed to suit the different situations and requirements.Compare one typical console design and one new console design to improve the ergonomic level by applying the analysis function of human body simulation software Jack.In the end,we summarized one design and evaluation method for the display console.
