| With the augment of power plant unit capacity and hike in automatic control,the quantity of the cable increases quickly. It makes cable laying become one ofthe most time-consuming and manpower-consuming jobs during the constructionof power plant. CAD cable laying can raise work efficiency and quickenconstruction progress.In this paper, the 3D model of plant building and cable bracket areestablished in AutoCAD platform by ObjectARX. The whole develop progress isunder Visual C++ develop environment and Object Oriented Programmingmethod was employed. The optimization algorithm of cable laying is also studiedin this paper and the design result can be displayed in graphical way. The abovestudy lead the CAD of cable laying make a stride towards the 3D design.
