Reserch On Setting Online Of UFLS Equipment

UFLS is the last defense that guarantees the electric power network's safety andreliability. In order to improve accuracy of UFLS installment fixed value computation, to clearover-cut and owes-cut phenomenon in maximum, and to optimize amount of reduced load ofUFLS in optimum system, this article studies on UFLS setting calculation of traditional powersystem and genetic algorithms, and put out power system UFLS equipments optimized setting onlineon the basis of existed methods, because of the short-coming of the current setting calculations. For the example of Liaoning electric power network, this article optimized sets the UFLSequipments. From the conclusion of calculation examples we can see that the method introduced inthis article has something improved as comparing with current UFLS in amount of UFLS andrestoration of system frequency.
