Earthquake is a burst natural disaster, the strong earthquake motion can cause landslide, river diversion, building collapse, bridge collapse, huge economic loss and personnel injuries or deaths. China is an earthquake active country in the world, the earthquake distribution is quite wide. With the development of the society, notional economy, science and technology, more and more high-rise buildings are built in China. The earthquake action is a controlling factor in the analysis of the high-rise building, so the research and improvement of the seicmic analysis method are generated gradually. In recent years, because of the characteristic of itself, the static Pushover analysis is turning into an widely-used simple method gradually, which is used to evaluating the seismic performance of the structure. Now the new seismic code in our country has introduced this method.The horizontal loading model is very important to the static Pushover analysis. The option of the of horizontal load model will effect the result of static Pushover analysis directly. Through performing the static Pushover analysis in 3-D to the three frame structures, the author discusses four horizontal loading models. Comparing with the results of the elastic-plastic dynamic analysis, point out that how the four models effect the result of the static Pushover analysis.At the same time, the paper lists two kinds of methods------Capacity spectrummethod and Target displacement method, which are used to evaluating the seismic performance of the structure based on the static Pushover analysis, and points out the problems among them. Through adjusting the longitudinal reinforcements of the columns, adjust the bearing capacity factors of the three frame structures. Then performing the elastic-plastic dynamic analysis to the structures with different bearing capacity factors, discuss the relationship between the bearing capacity factor and the seismic performance, find out the minimum bearing capacity factors of the three structures. Combining the corresponding contents in the literatures, the paper presents the suggested value of the minimum bearing capacity factor of frame structure.
