Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) Drive (SRD) is a new adjustable-speed motor system. More and more scholars' attention in the world are attracted because of its simple structure, high robustness, high pull-in torque and large adjustable-speed scale. In this paper, a non-linear mathematic model and an intelligent control strategy based on DSP-TMS320F240 for Switched Reluctance Motor are emphasized on. And grouped control strategy is implemented.This paper has six sections. First, the development of SRM in home and abroad is summarized and present state of mathematic model and control strategy for SRD is analyzed. Then the structure and operation principle of SRM are studied and a new power inverter is given based on the analyzing of different power inverters. This inverter is suit for current chopping control (CCC) with two phase conduction at low speed and angle position control (APC) at high speed. A non-linear mathematic model of SRM based on phase winding inductance and a grouped control strategy are presented. And the simulation model of SRD is studied based on the mathematic model given in this paper. At last, the software based on the TMS320F240' hardware design is developed. The high reliability and high practicability of the non-linear mathematic model and grouped control strategy is proved by simulation and experiment results.
