One of the changes is that the traditional sightseeing traveling in the purpose of visiting scenic spots gave seat to tourism in the purpose of relaxing and entertaining. Under this kind of background, tourism areas that offer services for people's traveling boomed in a incomparable speed.As one of the favorite ways for the tourist and most welcomed way of relaxing in the tourism area, the tourist villa has already become one of the construction features. However, plenty of this kind of buildings appeared in the form of villa in the tourism area had a great deal of problems both in plan of design and practical construction. Here are the most two obvious problems: one is that although these villas provide tourist a place to rest and live in, the functions of villas cannot fit in the practical functions cater for necessity because there is almost no differences between design of villas for tourism ones and private ones. The other one is the design of these sorts of villas cannot match with the surrounded nature sceneries and condition of mountain area, and they also lost the unique taste as tourist villa, especially for those tourist villas in mountain area with the gorgeous nature sceneries.Therefore, the paper began with the basic analysis about tourism area and different styles and designs of villas for tourism. Focusing on the special conditions and making use of general way of design of construction in mountain areas, even the traditional constructions for mountain area dwellers, the paper made some research to the design of tourist construction, especially to the villas in the tourist area located in landscape. Hopefully, it could provide some theoretical reference for the designs and constructions of tourist villas nowadays.In the research, according to the distribution of functions and services provided to different tourists, the paper divided tourist villas into four styles: tourist villas for families, tourist villas with a personal club, tourist villas with hotel rooms and touristvillas for business men. And the paper also made some research about the functions, structure and designs for each of the type. Tourist villas with a personal club are the new concept for tourist villas which is raised by this paper during the research of activities among tourist.
