From 1950s', Da Ming Palace, which is one of the first key protection units in China, has been recorded by each dynasty in China's history. In 1950s', The archaeologists began the research there since 1950's. The whole protection plan of Da Ming Palace Ruins was issued by Government of Shaanxi province after the approval by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage.This thesis states its history, excavation, importance, and protection of Da Ming Palace Ruins .It points out the problems and challenges Da Ming Ruins' Protection faces through the aspects of its surroundings, body and covered areas.Based on the analysis of theories of protection at home and broad, the thesis states that the Ruin Park as the protection system was proposed to protect Da Ming Palace Ruins. There are three potential modes, forms and chances. We explain the feasibility of Da Ming Palace Ruin Park, and expect the development of Da Ming Palace Ruin Park in the future.
