Known as "the first vassal seal in the world" in the Ming Dynasty,the palace of Qin Wangfu is located in the northeast area of Mingcheng City,Xi’an.The palace of Qin Wangfu in Ming Dynasty was built at the beginning of the eleventh year of Ming Hongwu.It is picturesque,and together with the Ming City Wall of Xi’an,it forms a heavy city pattern of "city within a city".It is another golden age of urban development in Xi’an after the Tang Dynasty.However,with the replacement of dynasties and the changes of history,the palace of the king of Qin in Ming Dynasty changed from prosperity to decline and gradually disappeared in the long river of history.The existing ground ruins of the palace of the prince of Qin are mainly the ruins of the city wall of the palace of the prince of Qin.The cultural information of the historical area is the material witness of the overall pattern of Qin Wangfu and the structure of the Ming City in Xi’an,and it is also an important historical context in the Ming City of Xi’an.With the expansion of the city and the superposition of functions In addition,the fragmented presentation of the city wall ruins makes it impossible for the public to obtain the information of the city wall ruins,and the historical and cultural information carried by the city wall ruins cannot be transmitted,resulting in the ruins of the Qin Wangfu city wall being in a state of being "buried",and its value cannot be demonstrated.Therefore,this paper takes the ruins of the palace wall of Mingcheng in Xi’an as the research object,aims to explore the protection and utilization of the palace of the prince of Qin in Mingcheng,reveal the value of the palace of the prince of Qin in Xi’an,and demonstrate the cultural connotation of the palace of the prince of Qin in the Ming Dynasty.The specific content mainly includes the following aspects: First,through the reading of relevant literature and the interpretation of relevant cases,the experience and methods of the protection and utilization of city wall sites are summarized and used as the basic theoretical support for this article.Secondly,by consulting relevant historical and archaeological data,we explore the historical pattern and scale of the Ming and Qin Wangfucheng,and trace the evolution of the Mingqin Wangfucheng.Through on-site investigation and questionnaire survey,we can grasp the current situation of protection and utilization of the ruins of the Qin Wangfu city wall in Mingcheng,Xi’an,as well as the characteristics of the surrounding fields,and summarize the problems and challenges faced in the protection and utilization of the current situation.Through the analysis and research on the functional status,construction status,traffic status,and public activities of the Qinwangfu city wall site,the space conditions for the protection and utilization of the Qinwangfu city wall site are explored.Finally,combined with the protection planning of the relevant historical sites of Qinwangfu in Xi’an Mingcheng,it explores the strategies and display methods for the protection and utilization of the ruins of the Qinwangfu city wall in Xi’an,and systematically proposes the display and utilization image of the historical sites of the Qinwangfu.
