This dissertation aims to analyze tooth root bending intensity of differential bevel gear by means of the classical analytical procedure and finite element method. Therefore, the classical analytical technical and the FEM are studied in depth in the paper. It is very important to develop a kind of automatic analysis software to calculate the differential teeth stress of the automobile machine by using the methods of classic analysis and finite element analysis. When inputting the basic parameter of the teeth stress design that the deviser is familiar with, the software thus can automatically complete all the contents of the classic method and finite element method used for analyzing the differential teeth intensify. It can also provide the related design documents so as to they can be employed well by engineers. This kind of software will give a profound meaning in the aspect of raising the level of the product development. With the rapid development of the computers as well as the maturation and popularization of the FEM, the analysis of FEM on the problem of counting the tooth root bending intensity becomes possible.First, this dissertation carries on a detailed analysis of the dynamics of the differential bevel gear, expanding the content of analyzing the inner friction of the symmetry type of differential bevel gear.
