The Economic Analysis Of The Seismic Resistant Measures Of The Buildings With Wood Framework In Villages And Small Towns

The main objects of study in this paper are the buildings with wood framework in villages and small towns. The earthquake disaster revealed some deficiencies and weaknesses on globality, structure and the building method of the buildings. Considering these deficiencies and weaknesses, the paper gives some measures to enhance the seismic resistant capacities of the buildings. And these measures are based on the target of no or less increasing the cost of the buildings.This paper has investigated much typical seismic disaster of the buildings with wood framework in villages and small towns in different earthquake intensities and site conditions. Through these materials, the paper finds some questions and weakness spots of the buildings. After that, the paper gives a systematic suggestion about how to select the site, settle the foundation, arrange the plane, select the materials, and to enhance the anti-seismic capacity of the whole frame, local joint and the ambient system. And the paper also gives some advises such as how to operate and repair the buildings ect.At last, the paper builds up some different types of the building models, and calculates the cost of the models with the anti-seismic measures and without the measures. These measures are in the earthquake intensity 6-7 and the earthquake intensity 8. Then the paper analyzes the cost-benefit of the measures in different earthquake intensities. According to the result of the analysis, the paper gets the practicability of the anti-seismic measures of the buildings with wood framework in villages and small towns.
