Modern light-frame wood structure is a relatively new structure, reasonable seismic evaluation method will directly affect the evaluation of the seismic performance.Seismic Performance Evaluation's core mission is to analyze the amount of structural response under seismic action(such as force, displacement and energy, etc.), and then determine the structure's resistance to earthquakes. Performance-Based Seismic Engineering have become the focus of domestic and international experts in the field of earthquake engineering.This paper considers the basic concept of performance-based Seismic engineering, and innovation in the field of light-frame wood structural seismic demand estimation method. details are as follows:1.Reference Adaptive Pushover Analysis(ASPA) Method and Modified Pushover Analysis(MPA) Method valuable part, and analyzes two methods have flaws still exist at present.Modified general Pushover analysis, suggest a improvement Pushover analysis of light-frame wood structure, a substantial increase in Pushover method to estimate the accuracy of the inter-story displacement.2.Based on the above studies, the inter-story displacement demands of two story light-frame wood structure are estimated using a improvement Pushover analysis Methods.3.MDOFS accumulated energy research under seismic loads, derived energy conversion relationship between MDOFS and SDOFS, proposed a multi-degree of freedom system is estimated structural deformation energy and approximate methods of seismic energy.4.In the above study, based on a reasonable description of the structural performance levels of light-frame wood structure, the establishment of performance standards of its structure and nonlinear displacement, energy and quantify the overall damage index correspondence between developed for light-frame wood structure based on performance integrated seismic evaluation methods.
