Then the confusion in the architecture has appeared.Aimed at this phenomenon and based on the analyses to the essence of the sense in the philosophy, this paper thinks that fundamentally the un-rationality in the architecture should be rational. In the essence, the post-modernism theories which these architectures are in accordance with are rational. So these post-modern architectures can be in the way like this, just because they misapprehended the development of the mathematics.Thereby, first of all, through the introduce to the important development in each mathematics period and the influence to the architecture, this paper indicates that the change of the architecture more importantly came in for the influence from the development of the mathematics and the incessant exhibiting to the new prospect of the world because of it, besides the society, politics, economy and so on. The approach of the mathematics reacting to the architecture is by the mathematics-rationality and the mathematics- esthetics.Then, by the comparison to the rationality in the mathematics and the philosophy, this paper thinks that the mathematics-rationality is not only the important part to the philosophy, but also the essence of the sense in the architecture. It is the main key which is incessant changing and developing in each architecture period.Afterward, through the introduce to the meanings and the development process of the architecture-aesthetics and the characteristics of the mathematics-esthetics, this paper points out that there is a common tiptop ideal which is the harmoniousness in both domains. In pursuit of the harmoniousness is the essential guarantee to the architecture and the mathematics which would conform with the nature development order.In the end, this paper brings forward that the architects should not just see the influence factors on the more shallow levels in the development and change of the architecture. They should catch hold of the essence of the mathematics-rationality in the architecture, and seek the mathematics-esthetics to get the harmoniousness and unification with the world.
