With the progress of our national economic, communication and transportation became more and more important in national economic. As throat of road, the bearing capability and transportation capability of bridge became critical in road transportation. But with the improvement of loading grade, increase of traffic and extension of service years, many bridges can not satisfy to the requirement of modern communications due to serious diseases and inadequate safety. Therefore, in order to improve the function of the bridge and extend the service life of the bridge, the study and engineering application of maintenance, reinforcement and repairing in bridge structure have been a wide concern in the nations, became a research task with important theorical and realistic meaning. The paper comprehensively presents the fundamental theory of the new bridge reinforcement technology, SRAP technology. On the ground of pertinent material, by finite element nonlinear analysis software ANSYS, through nonlinear finite element Analysis, study SRAP technology reinforced concrete simple support beam, analysed comparison of traditional prestressed reinforcement technology and SRAP technology reinforced concrete simple support beam at same amount of reinforcement material and prestress level, contents include: bearing capability, lection, train of rebar and strain of reinforced rebar, and analysed concrete reinforced simple support beam reinforcement effect influence of SR material, AP material, prestress level and secondary loading contents include: bearing capability, flection, strain of rebar and strain of reinforced rebar. At the last, combined with bridge T beam reinforcement engineering practice, analysed reinforment effect of SRAP technology applied in T beam. Accumulate precious experience for SRAP technology applying in bridge reinforcement in our nation.
