In general, the design of the HVAC system is based on the assumption that the system is working on the largest load, but in fact the HVAC system is usually run on the part load. If the optimum work point of the HVAC system could be found by certain method and the optimum operation would be realized by control system, the energy consumption of the system would be greatly reduced.Firstly, this paper study on water-cooling vapor compression chiller and air source Heat Pump system, the objective function of total energy of Air-conditioning system for primary pump system was set up with mechanism analysis method, and the constraint condition optimum models for cooling coils components and fan-coil units were set up. In order to verifying the precision of the optimum model, the operation data of air-conditioning system are collected from Xi'an Yuxiangmen hotel and the comparison result shows that the precision of model is better. Then the sensitivity of the energy consumption objective function for air-conditioning system was analyzed with the method of direct derivation, and five independent variables's influence on the objective function is obtained. Finally, five different load ratios of water-cooling vapor compression chiller and air source Heat Pump system were optimized with optimization box in MATLAB. After the optimization, the air-conditioning system's energy consumption drops obviously; And the other objective parameter's influence on the energy consumption and the optimum parameter operation value of air-conditioning system were obtained; Then with the optimization result the energy-saving measures for practical air-conditioning system was proposed in this paper.
