The moveing track simulation and the strain analysis and calculation of underslung conveyor are important in designing underslung conveyor. This thesis successfully achieves this goal in AutoCAD2000 environment by using ObjectARX which is an object-oriented redevelopment tool of AutoCAD and based on the Visual C++6.0 platform.This thesis mainly covers the following four aspects of research work:1. This thesis states the principle and application of computer-assisted technique. Based on solving the difficulties encountered in designing underslung conveyor, the thesis brought forward computer-assisted design method by using of AutoCAD redevelopment technique and proposed resolve method.2. The moving track simulation of underslung conveyor is realized in AutoCAD2000 environment. The minimum non-interfering distance between objects conveyed is figured out. In addition, safe productive activities are taken into consideration. To be specific, the position of safety net is made out by calculating the outline of a certain point on the bottom of the moving object conveyed.3. This thesis has improved the strain calculation method of the conveyor chain, and realized computerization of calculating process. Based on the analysis of designed CAD graphics and the given parameters,computer can convert the CAD graphics to a AcDbPolyline which can simulate the routine of the conveyor chain. Then by using the method of point-by-point strain calculation, computer could figure out each point's strain of the chains under different load states, and get the results such as strain's maximal and the minimal values and their positions, weight of the strain equipment and power of the drive electric-machinery that the conveyor need.
