Underslung Conveyor is a continuous transport for materiel which is widely used in industry. The analyses and calculations of tension acted on driving-chain and studying of running smoothness of conveyor driving-chain are key to designing a conveyor and moving quality.This thesis improves the method of calculating the tension acted on conveyor driving-chain,, and realizes automatic calculating. Achieving analyses and calculations of tension for driving-chain of underslung conveyor by using redevelopment for AutoCAD , solving the problem of static-single calculating in a approximate way of the traditional calculation method,improving the precision and efficiency. And it can realizes dynamic calculation and circular calculation.Based on this,we can realize not only the calculating tension for driving-chain,but optimizing analyse,which realizes automatic calculating and improves the precision and efficiency for desin.Otherwise the study changes disadvantage for calculating the tension acted on conveyor driving-chain of traditional calculation,which finding the tension of driving-strain ,the stress and friction of every point, providing theory for track-design of underslung conveyor. This thesis studies the reasons of the instability of the driving-chains(called"crawling") based on calculating the tension acted on conveyor driving-chain,and the settlement for"crawling",.Through building the physical model made for driving-chains,, its major reasons are studied,, and then its main influential factor are analyzed by using the method of simulation to the system with Matlab. The effective measures to eliminate"crawling"are put forward.
