The curved thin-walled box- girder bridges have been widely applied in recent years. the box-girder has many advantages for example light weights and so on. But in practical projects , there are some problems ,for instance ,the design of diaphragms. as a result of the complicated analysis of the curved thin-walled box girder, there has little feasible methods to designs the diaphragm's space between. There for the designs of diaphragms in the structures mostly depend on engineers'experience, then lead to the diaphragm's stiffness and section are bigger, that make the waste of material too much and the design maybe not adv isible . so the systemic analysis of diaphragms is very important. This paper utilizes the international popular software - ANSYS and establishes more finite element analysis model of different curved thin-walled box-girder, to study two aspects of diaphragms. fist, to analyze and contrast stress and deformation of box–girder cross section and the beam web. to expiain the diaphragms'important. Second , change the diaphragm's space between, retain the other thing, analyze the influence of the stress and deformation of box–girder cross section and the beam web. Based on the analysis upwards, the writer studied the rule of the influence of the stress and deformation box–girder cross section and the beam web with different diaphragm's space between . According to the results of finite element analysis, the writer puts forward some suggestions which will provide some reference for the following design.we obtained the table of appropriate diaphragms' distance:...
