The task of the missile control system is to guide the missile to the object, then smash it. The missile control system composed of two pares, the controller and the controlled object. Focused on the new research direction of missile air defense weapon system, how to design the autopilot of the self-rotary missile is studied in this dissertation. The central contents in this paper is the design of the autopilot of the self-rotary missile.The mainly work of the paper could be described as follows: first, the reference frame is defined and the movement equation and the transfer function of the body are proposed in portrait plane. Second, a certain type of rotary missile, which is serviced in the Chinese army now, is introduced and studied. Third, this part introduces the principle of guiding control system and proportional navigation law's. Then, the optimal control is used to the principle of guiding control system. Fouth, the control system is designed. As the frequency of the missile's autogiration is changing when the missile is flying, then the average control force is not exactly proportional enough to the guiding signal. So we make the frequency of the linearization signal change with the frequency of the missile's autogiration. Then the linearity of the average control force can be improved. Furthermore, an optimal frequency ratio of linearizing signal to control signal is presented. Along with the development of computer, digitalization is a new research direction of the automatic pilot. The digital automatic pilot control system is analyzed and designed.
