After turbocharging, the power is added, the mass ratio is reduced, the economical efficiency is promoted, the exhaust is improved, and the noise is decreased. Thus, adopting turbo is one of the most important developments away of the engine. To improve the litre power, the naturally aspirated DA465 gasoline engine was redesigned to be a turbocharged gasoline one. In this paper, the research work on turbocharged engine is follwing:Based on the test datum, a calculating model of naturally aspirated engine DA465, is set up in this thesis. Its intake and exhaust system are modeled by one-dimensional unsteady flow, whose partial differential equations are discretized by FVM. Single-Wiebe curve has been used to simulate the heat release regulation. According to the model of naturally aspirated engine, the turbocharged gasoline engine calculating model is found. A calculation to the turbocharged gasoline engine has been performed, and the calculated results tend to be in agreement with the experimental ones. Then the turbocharged engine simulation model is founded on the naturally aspirated one. After calculation, the performance of the turbocharged engine is forecasted, which get the main parameters change rule of the engine , and the tiptop pressure and temperature in cylinder are got, Then, calculation and analysis of the compression ratio and combustion advanced angle parameters have been performed, and the maximum pressure and temperature in the cylinder draw from the calculation. Thus, supply the theoretic gist and research direction for engine design and test research. After turbocharging, we find the interference occurs during the exhaust stage, so the work group redesigns the exhaust pipe system. Seen from the simulation result of the new exhaust pipe, the new exhaust system...
