| AMT (Automated Mechanical Transmission) is the improvement on the basis of the dry clutch and the manual fixed-shaft. It can implement automatic transmission just as Automated Transmission can do, and it holds the merits of the conventional manual transmission that has high efficiency, low cost, simple structure and being made easily. It is the mechanical-electrical product of high and new technology that is suitable for the situation of our country. The AMT can be actuated by electrical-hydraulic, electrical-pneumatic or electrical way. The AMT system that is developed by the author is dynamoelectric AMT system.The control technique of motorized throttle plays an important role in the control of the dynamoelectric AMT system. It is difficult that the control system of motorized throttle is modeled exactly because the control system involves non-smooth nonlinearities and time-variations, such as gear backlash, stick-slip friction and sliding friction. The throttle control system will not meet the high requirements of the control performance if the conventional control technique that is based on the exact mathematics model is used to design the throttle control system. So studying the intelligent control technique of the motorized throttle actuator is of great value.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background and the significance; and summarizes the chief types, the development process and the characteristic of automated transmissions of vehicles; and expounds the types, the feature of the throttle; and states the advance and the development tendency of the motorized throttle products and the control technique at home and abroad. Secondly, electronic control unit of dynamoelectric AMT system based on DSP is designed, including: the choice of the controller, the detection of the input, the design of the interface circuit of the input and the output and the design of removing the interference of the ECU. Thirdly, the motorized throttle actuator is designed, and worm gearing is used in the design; and the way of finding gear ratio is expounded; and the brushless DC motor is selected as the driving motor; and the driving circuit of the brushless DC motor with MC33035 is designed. And then, the paper expounds the basic ideas and the important theory knowledge of the fuzzy control and the human-simulated intelligent control, analyses their characteristics and range of use.
