The dynamic balancing is one of the testing technology that must be adopted on rotary part. On the foundation of the dynamic balancing theory of rotor and the crank connecting machine, considering such disadvantages and shortages of the traditional motorcycle dynamic balancing testing system as low efficiency, bad precision, strong man-made interferer, high costs and so on, this paper designed a dynamic balancing testing installation based on the control of Personal Computer. Because of its great convenience and complete functions, it can not only worked as a spot motorcycle crank and connecting dynamic balancing testing machine, but also a vibration analyzer. Comparing with the previous study, in the design, aiming at the enxisting problems, we inspect the whole testing system, improve and replace some components, and then take a new method to achieve the accurate extraction of the amplitude and phase of the unbalance signal. At last, the Lissajou's figures is used to get the two most important parameters in dynamic balancing testing, that is unbalancing rate and principal axis obliquity. According to the parameters, we can judge the unbalancing place and the unbalancing mass that need to cut down or add.With computers introduced into electronic measurement field, the Virtual Instruments (VI), computer acquisition test analysis instruments, was born. In order to fit the demand of dynamic balancing test and improve the accuracy of the measurement result, this paper combing the technique of virtual instruments with the numeric signal processing technique and dynamic balancing technique,and using the LabWindows/CVI accomplished a dynamic balancing test system based on virtual instruments technique. All of this transferned focal point of the study emphasis from hardware design to software design which is lean to numeric measurement.Compared with the traditional instrument, the machine is more facility; and has two mode to get digital signal, one is by acquisition clip and the other is by series communication. By testing the crank connecting machine, it has been proved that the balancing instrument has completed the functions and can obtain satisfying result.
