Some research indicated that, the bituminous pavement Early destruction 70% ~ 80% related with the road surface water stability, is caused by the water damage. Regardless of is in the hot and damp south, or cold northeast, even if in arid northwest, after being open to traffic soon, all the varying degree have the water harm problems. Specially in the south multi-rain area, nearly all highways had the varying degree water damage phenomenon to a year. The water damage has become the one of most serious destruction forms in our country's bituminous pavement. Therefore, Study how to prevent and solve the water damage problem of bituminous pavement have far-reaching social influence and great economical significance.The paper through the mechanism which produces to the asphalt road surface water harm carries on the induction to summarize, as well as the different type bituminous mixture water stability has carried on a series of contrasts experiment to several kind of different aggregates and the asphalt adherency, has analyzed the aggregate and the asphalt adherency and the bituminous mixture water stability; Meanwhile moves the water action mechanism take the pavement structure in as the key point, in the basis room experiments to the design half rigid base bituminous mixture test sample carries on washes out the experiment, the observation test sample and washes out when the number of times increase along with the time variation the basic unit wash load situation, has analyzed the water to the bituminous pavement various structures level damage rule; To immerses under the condition using the ANASYS finite element software the bituminous pavement structure level the stress to carry on the analysis computation, and analyzed the bituminous pavement according to the computed result to produce the unboiled water harm the rule, further to understand the structure level produced the unboiled water harm the rule.According to the above analysis, combines the water damage situation of the project road surface, proposed the appropriate bituminous mixture gradation design, the draining water settle measure and the road surface service plan, according to the settle measure and the plan lays the experiment road, meanwhile to invest the experiment road's performance and the settle effect of the draining water project, further confirmed the feasibility of water damage settle measure which adopts.
