Research On Water-damage Mechanism And Synthesis Treatment Measurement Of Changtai Highway Asphalt Pavement

Water damage has become one of the most severe diseases of asphalt pavement in China,and it widely exists in expressway,.Chang-tai freeway has been open to traffic from 2004,the maintenance department has adopted some curing methods such as micro surfacing,overlay,milling-planing and back-paving,etc.Though,relatively severe diseases still exist in pavement,especially large area pumping and cracks that are affected by water appear in partial section,which not only affect the pavement's riding quality seriously,but also affect society and traffic greatly.The project is based on the technical renovation engineering of Chang-Tai expressway.Based on the investigation and analysis of drainage design,water damage mechanism and treatment technology,further investigation on comprehensive treatment technology of highway asphalt pavement water damage is carried on systematically.Firstly,the project investigate the pavement structure,status of drainage facilities and features of water damage of Chang-Tai expressway to figure out the reason of water damage,then,to explore the mechanism of the damage,and the works have been done above will provide theoretical foundation for the later special treatment of water damage.Secondly,comprehensive treatment scheme was designed in this project,according to the characteristics of water damage which exist in asphalt pavement of Chang-Tai expressway.What's more,scientific,reasonable and effective measures on water control and drainage are proposed,which can be reference for treatments on water damage in technical renovation project of Chang-Tai expressway.Finally,the technical renovation engineering of water damage of Chang-Tai highway projects will be seen as the experiment and demonstration.The comprehensive treatment measures for water damage of asphalt pavement will be put forward and tracked by time nodes of rainy seasons,Whichcan effectively assess the applicability of the various measures and provide referential experience for a lot of expressway asphalt pavement maintenance projects.The research improves the water damage condition of Chang-Tai expressway,enhancing the riding quality of pavement,reducing the occurrence of traffic accidents in a certain degree,Jiangxi Province's road network overall capacity has also been strengthened.It has an important practical significance to ensure the service function of expressway,reducing the impact of maintenance on traffic,improving the social satisfaction.
