Resin modified semi-rigid composite material is a new kind of pavement material, which is formed by filling the epoxy resins modified cement mortar into the special big-interspaced asphalt mixture.On the base of researches inside and outside of the country, the mix design of cement mortar and mother asphalt mixture has been studied and the gradation of aggregate and span of asphalt content is confirmed. The mechanical and pavement performance of the resin modified semi-rigid composite material and bituminous mixture is studied, and it's proved the composite material is finer than asphalt mixture.The fatigue performance of resin modified semi-rigid composite material is studied. The fatigue experiments with control stress are made and we learned the fatigue equation of the resin modified semi-rigid composite material. Through comparative analysis, Resin modified semi-rigid composite material is proved have finer fatigue performance than asphalt mixture, and it is suitable for overlay on the old concrete pavement. Through the analysis of overloading we know that it's sensitivity to overloading is lower than cement concrete, so it is fit for the situation of burden traffic.Because there are very great differences in the condition of the fatigue examination between in the room and on the road, so considering various kinds of influence factors and according to the fatigue equation, a formula to predict the fatigue life-span is obtained. And we can learn the rupture strength coefficient. According to the character, this paper bring forward the method of the appliance of resin modified semi-rigid composite material on old concrete pavement.It is expected it can offer scientific reference basis for epoxy resins modified composite material's spread and application in the future.
