Because of the urbanization influence, especially during the course of rainstorm, the clamax flux of urban area increases and time advances, and make the urban area easier to be harassed by flood than the rural area. Actually the rainwater that could be directly absorbed by the plant, stored by the depression or permeated through underground, is separated by the ground and gathered surface runoff flow into the urban sewers and drainage ditches, and then the rainwater enters and increases rainfall runoff of the urban rivers. Some old urban drainage pipelines can not contain the urban flood flux, and go beyond the endurance of flood-prevention project that designed originally. Questions such as the urban water accumulation that caused by the urban water-logging, have influenced the people's normal life, and has seriously caused to loss property of country and people.For fully understanding the mechanism and course of urban surface runoff, with the local weather, the climate and geographical conditions in Xi'an city, the appropriate parameters are choosed, and the reason and solution for causing the earth's surface water accumulation in Xi'an city are explained by calculating. Three following respects has been further reaserched in the thesis.(1) The course of urban surface runoff is analyzed. Rainstorm formula for the calculation will be developed, For the statistical calculations to draw the process line of rainstorm; According to storm course line after the analysis of distributing the time course, based on the appropriate loss method of storm, the calculate formulation to urban surface runoff is attempted to calculate and get the urban surface net rain course line.(2) The course of urban surface confluence is analyzed.
