With the demand of high-powered AC servo product increasing, the AC servo system based on SCM (single-chip microcontroller) is more and more widely used. For digitized AC servo system, it needs software to support it's closed-loop control. Its control quality is decided by the program of control computation directly. So the program should be tested strictly and time after time when developing it. For the test is long, unefficient and costly with hardware, it's adverse for the AC servo product to compete in the intense market.The present paper's goal is to put forward a new way to test the program by means of multi-cyclical closed-loop control computation simulation. For this paper, it's an exploration for the improvement of the program test. In this paper, a new idea of the program test is put forward. Its concrete method is: Firstly, precondition the program code. Secondly, collect information which will be put use to simulate. Lastly, make use of the information collected to simulate to compute, and associate with the controlled object's program module to carry out the multi-cyclical closed-loop simulation. This method's realization will make the time and cost of A.C. servo system's development reduce greatly, so it will make sense for the research and the practical application. In this paper, the AC servo system for experiment is based on SCM UPD70F3184, V850 series which produced by NEC. This equipment will be used to validate the new way of program test. Not only, this system provides the experiment platform for the method of simulating to confirmed, but it makes author to strengthen to understand the AC servo system. The research and summary for AC servo system will laid the rationale for the simulation of control computation.Based on above work, an emulator used to carry out the multi-circle closed–loop simulation for the control computation program., and the AC servo system is put use to confirm its feasibility.
