As for electro-hydraulic servo system's advantages, such as quick response, high control precision and fixable control mode, it is used widely in condition-simulation examination. The electro-hydraulic servo simulation system developed by this paper is used to simulation surf, so as to provide living movement environment of ocean wave for tests of ship's performance. It's a new use of electro-hydraulic surf in simulation domain.Compared with design of general electro-hydraulic servo system, this system has notable characteristics and difficulty. Mostly in flowing aspects, high movement range (reach to 1.8m), high movement speed (reach to 2.51m/s), high acceleration (reach to 12.7m/s2 ).The main content of the paper is as follows:(1)Particular analyzed configuration and work principle of the system according to technology index, particular designed and calculate how to choose element and servo cylinder, using 3D modeling software to calculate the mechanics capability of servo cylinder.(2)Using reliability theory to model the reliability of hydraulic system and count the reliability. Through reliability designing and forecasting of the control system , testify the using reliability of the whole system.(3)Developed electric control system based on PLC.(4)Modeled the servo control system and specified pass functions of every control tache. Modeled by Simulink based on pass functions and designed composite PID controller.(5)Tested the electric hydraulic servo system. According to the date, the system reaches to the required index.
