Current Transducer (CT) is an important measurement instrument in the power line monitoring. With the development of the technology of fiber communication and integrated electronics, the Hybrid-type Optical Current Transducer (HOCT) will be the succedaneum of the traditional Current Transducer. One of the key technologies of HOCT is the power supply of the electronic circuit on high voltage part. Optical Powered Battery solves this problem perfectly. Optical Powered Battery is the key part of the power supply based on optical power with perfect EMI and radiation resistance. It is a safe and clean power supply equipment. This equipment can be widely used in measuring field such as power line, medical apparatus and instruments, measurement of aerospace and fiber communication.The stability of the output voltage is very important. There are four parts which make up of Optical Powered Battery, the semiconductor laser and its driving circuit, the fiber used in optical transfer, photoelectric part and the DC-DC model. The voltage-stabilizing step is now focused on the control of constant-power in the semiconductor laser. In fact, the output voltage is changed when the load changed. As a result, it comes to be an important technology to make it stable when the load changed.In this paper, we make a wide and profound investigation on the research schemes, the present status and the problems of Optical Powered Battery. We put forward a new method based on the investigation to make the output voltage stable which is sampling the output voltage directly and then using the method of digital control to achieve the voltage-stabilizing. In this paper, we make a profound analysis on this method, and then give a specific implementation. The system introduced in this paper consists of three parts, the data acquisition system, the fiber communication system and the data processing system. We choose MCU as the core controller in both data acquisition and the data processing system. We choose the fiber communication to make the data sampling and processing system together.
