Then, by comparing with the original vehicle data in the vehicle management database, it makes the adjudicate whether the size of vehicle is within the prescribed limit.The automobile outline size-measuring machine is four meters in the width and height direction and the dragon gate type frame structure .The distance of movement in the perpendicular direction is 20 meters. Small moving vehicles driven by step motor move along a track synchronously. The measuring accuracy index is±10 mm. This machine adopts a non-contact measurement method. All kinds of inspection devices such as photoelectric switch, laser measuring sensors and super voice wave measuring sensors etc are used in the measurement progress. This system uses the mutual independent P89C58X2 single chip to be a sampling and judging and entering unit on the length, width and highly directions. In the meantime, the P89C58X2 carries on communication with the computer and transmits measuring data through RS485. The computer receives, handles data before it determines whether the vehicles being checked is in accordance with the prescribed limit data.
