Hydraulic servo system has the high power, high intensity and fast response. It was widely used in military, national defense and civil area. But because of the disadvantages of the traditional hydraulic control system, for example, servo system's servo valve has the high requirements to the oil's intensity, so its application was limited. With the development of the AC servo system, there is a new electro-hydraulic servo system which is called Direct Drive Electro-Hydraulic Servo System. This new system has many advantages such as better controlled ability, higher efficiency, smaller bulk, simpler construction and energy saving. So it is widely considered to be one of the most important developing directions of the hydraulic control system.This technology is going to maturate in foreign country especially in USA and Japan, and its application is very wide. The main work of this paper is to design the one channel of six DOF motion platform including dissymmetrical cylinder, Hydraulic manifold block and some connection parts. Besides, we also do the research of the system's dynamic characteristics through experiments.This paper introduces the working principle and controlled methods of the permanent magnet synchronization servo motor (PMSM), builds the mathematical model of the PMSM and analyzes the pump controlled cylinder subsystem and builds the mathematical model of it. Based on these models, the model of the whole system is built, discussed the different parameters which influence the system's dynamic characteristics, and simulated the system. Besides programmed the control software, and according to the requirement of the equipments we have made a subtracter and a filter.In this paper, verified the system's performance under closed loop, and we tested the system's dynamic characteristics, the result tell us the mathematical model is good in describing the system. Besides, more methods should be adopted to reduce or avoid the bad influence on the system in practical application.
